Flowers

Ok that last picture in the previous blog was just to see who was awake out there :-)
This first picture is a clock with the background made out of plants, note the roman numerals.

Some of the plants are similar to our and others are totally unique like this one. Any botanists care to name it for me?

Similar to CT some of the wild flowers are already out. Even lawns tend to be more of a wild flower display than grass, indicative of the lifestyle.


And there are fields of clover (I think that is what it is) all over

One of the best local varieties is called kangaroo paw

And very endangered, although similar to our "straw flowers" are these
